I have owned dogs over a period of 30 years and in that time I have never, until I discovered K9 Heaven, found a boarding kennel that I'm completely happy with. Although some took good care of my dogs, for the most part they were kennelled and human interaction with them, play time and active exercise was very restricted. All the dogs I have owned have been very active and love to free run and go for long daily walks.
I first came across K9 Heaven when Matt was an employee and spent a good part of his day looking after the big active dogs. He was absolutely brilliant with my dog, Mack, who has sinced passed away. Mack loved going to K9 Heaven so much that he didn't always want to come home....he adored the place. He was a very fit, active dog and Matt teamed him up with similar dogs so he could run around the farm, swim in the lake and burn off his endless energy, off lead, with a few doggie pals and human handlers in tow.
Matt has since bought K9 Heaven and has adopted the same format and high standards of the previous owner and my new dog has started going for day visits and extended stays when I am away. She is a a rehomed dog (I am her third owner) and at first I was a bit anxious that she would feel she was being moved on again but that is certainly not the case. Matt and his team have patiently integrated her and she is now quite happy being around the other dogs and doesn't mind staying over at all.
Matt is very ethical, he and his team know the dogs in their care, he makes sure their needs and personalities are catered to and it is so good to be able to go away and not worry about their well being.
I wound unreservadly recommend Matt and all his team (with special mention too of Raewyn who adores all the animals in her care).

We found out about K9 Heaven from Doggy Dan and it is just what our 17 month old German Shepherd needed. Enzo is a high energy dog and K9 Heaven has been one great big adventure for him. Every Wednesday Enzo gets excited for his dogs day out and we get a break from the 2 hours of walking a day!
Not only does he have fun and get warn out but he has gained some valuable socialising skills with other dogs. The team at K9 Heaven are awesome and have been putting in a lot of work to ensure Enzo not only has fun but learns to mix with dogs of all ages and sizes, which has made a world of difference to our walks with him. We can't recommend K9 Heaven enough, the team have done everything possible to make sure Enzo is out there having fun and not stuck in the yard without a buddy.
So a big thank you to the K9 Heaven team, we are really enjoying the photo updates of Enzo on facebook and know that when he is at K9 Heaven he is in very capable and loving hands.

K9 Heaven was recommended to me by a local vet when I was looking for a day-stay for my beloved Dougal. I have been extremely pleased with the professional, kind and diligent service offered to Dougal and myself. When I drop him off in the mornings his excitement at being there is quite clear to all! I know I have left him in a safe environment and that he can look forward to a day of exercise, companionship and fun. Dougal says the best thing of all is being part of his pack for the day and having regular outings on 12 acres of bush and open fields where he can romp and play. He loves the lake. When I collect him in the afternoon I take home one tired, yet happy pooch. During sleep overs the staff have always been very accommodating of the requests of a very particular owner. Routine health checks and subsequent communication with me have been first class. To see my dog happy makes me happy, and K9heaven has certainly enhanced both our lives.

We trust the team at K9 Heaven with our Boxer Frank. He’s a high energy dog and the only time we ever see him tuckered out is after a full on day at K9 Heaven! There’s lots of variety for him from lots of walks & running through numerous bush tracks and open spaces, swimming/cooling off in summer in the large lake to warming up next to the fire with the other dogs in winter. It’s a safe environment for him too as the friendly team at K9 Heaven understand dog behavior & dog needs. It’s a great way for him to socialize and interact with other dogs & people as well. K9 Heaven has helped to bring out the best qualities in Frank & we highly recommend K9 Heaven to other dog owners.

Hello my name is Alex and I am a Retrodoodle. My Mum and Dad choose me when I was 3.5 months old because I was so cute, and I might add I still am. When they got me home I started to jump and mouth them all the time which was scary from Mum cos I was a big puppy and my Mum isnt very big. So out came Doggy Dan the dog trainer to sort me out. After my training Doggy Dan recommended that I go to K9 Heaven, Country Club for Dogs so I could socialise and learn to behave in a pack. So off I went before I was even 4 months old. I just love it! I go swimming, on bush walks with my other friends, and I run around and play. Im 16 months old now and I still go to play and socialise with my friends. Im so lucky cos its not fun being at home by myself.
Matt and the team are so cool they look after me and always say nice things, like I had a really good day. My swimming is coming along cos I learnt to swim at K9 Heaven. How good I am with puppies, yes I know Im still a puppy but I'm very big for my age, I do as I'm told, so I know my Mum and Dad are very proud of me. When I go for walks I'm really good because I'm used to other dogs so I don't growl and snap like other dogs I meet along the way that haven't learnt to play and socialise properly. When I get home I go straight to bed because I'm so tired from having such a fun filled day. I only get up to have my dinner!
